English First, Wenzhou are now accepting applications for the position of Director of Studies.
Situated on the east coast of China, not far from Shanghai, EF English First Wenzhou is part of the worlds largest language training group. English First has over 110 schools in China and has been teaching English all over the world for more than 40 years.

Our school has been in business for 7 years, during which time it has established itself as a clear market leader for young learners. In total we have over 800 students, roughly 30 4-6 year olds, 50 adult students and the rest aged 7-14 years old. The school underwent a big refurbishment last year, boasting a fresh, modern design in line with EF’s latest specifications. The school is split into a kids and adults section. The kids section was repainted & carpeted this month and the 11 classrooms all easy sit our maximum of 15 students. The adults classrooms have computers installed, connected to the schools central network. There is also a computer area with 6 computers, a decent sized social area, a table football table and a large room for events.
We currently employ 12 foreign teachers one senior teacher and have just employed 2 new local teachers. 6 of our teachers have been with us for over a year, some for over 3 years now. Our senior DoS runs our second school an hour away and is often on hand for support & input.
Our Chinese staff are all extremely well trained and superb at their jobs. Many have been with us for a long time and all contribute effectively to the smooth running school. Our school owner and center manager speaks fluent English and has spent over 5 years living abroad so fully understands Western management styles.
As a complete unit we have a united passion, clear direction and good fun.
We are looking at a mid September start date but can be flexible if need be. We offer an excellent package, including a competitive salary, a generous flight allowance, furnished housing 3 minutes walk from the school, insurance, a yearly bonus, a legal (Z) work visa, 15 days paid holiday annually, on top of the Chinese national holidays, trips to national EF training events and Mandarin Chinese lessons.

Compensation
--competitive salary: 10,000rmb per month
